On May 1, 2022, an aggravated battery involving a handgun was reported in the 100–200 block of Wabash Avenue, Chicago. According to the incident record JF226715, the altercation escalated when individuals involved in a dispute drew and discharged a firearm, leading to the aggravated battery charge. Authorities released footage of the event as part of the investigation.
