On August 30, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the 11800 block of South Indiana Avenue in the West Pullman neighborhood of Chicago. Around 9:30 p.m., a woman was sitting on the porch of a residence when someone in a dark-colored SUV drove by and opened fire, according to police. A man with a concealed-carry license returned fire as the vehicle fled the scene, but the woman sustained gunshot wounds and was later pronounced dead. The Chicago Police Department is seeking assistance identifying suspects in connection with the homicide recorded under incident JH408951.
